It's the second software of the new set of online painting photo effects I have published recently. It was released as the Oil Painting Photo Effect.

Using this tool, you can generate realistic oil painting portraits and pictures. They are very similar too that ones professional artists paint and keep all the important shapes and tracing from the original image.

I have released several online advanced painting photo effects. This post starts a series that shows all these new powerful softwares to turn photos into painted pictures.

This one is the most classic of these new tools. It was developed to create realistic, fine detailed, high-fidelity paintings from photos. You can use it at the Classic Art Painting Photo Effect page.

It's versatile and offers several configuration items, so you can get many different stroke styles, and also like if the piece of art was made using oil or acrylic for example.

Below you see a photo transformed into a painted portrait by using this new P2P software. The strokes are very delicate and the final art is very detailed, like the portraits made by artists from the Realism artistic movement.

Creating fresh paint effects for photos

I have been creating a totally new and very impressive painting engine based on samples. It was a very old dream and already took me many months of research and hard work.

Now the engine is in a advanced stage, I'm developing different painting tools to Picture to People. Based on photos (the samples), these tools will generate impressive portraits and so.

Unfortunately, there are many sub-projects ongoing and I'm not sure if I will be able to finish these new softwares this year yet.

Anyway, I will put some samples here when the softwares are in alpha or beta level. Also wait for the news about their publishing in next posts. Reading this blog you will be the first to know about that.
